Talitha Pam, CSUS MS-A student, Wins First Place for Essay in OISS Essay Contest

Talitha Pam, a masters student in the Department of Community Sustainability at Michigan State University, read her award-winning essay — “The Journey Here” — during a reception and award presentation ceremony at the Abrams Planetarium on Friday, December 2. Award winners for both the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) and the Office of Study Abroad (OSA) essay contests were recognized. Talitha is a Master Card Scholar from Nigeria, who began her masters program in August 2016. Her essay provides valuable insights into transitional experiences for international students.
